You do not need a new cat tree. You need the sisal post that matches the one she already shredded. Write down the bolt, then the length, then the color.
Bolt
Pick up a 3/8 inch wrench. Pass the threaded shaft through the 3/8 inch opening. If it slips through, you have an M8. If it will not go through, you have an M10.
If you already know the bolt is 5/16 or 1/4-20, stop and ask us.
Length
Take the worn post off the tree if you can. Measure the sisal cylinder only, from one end of the rope to the other. Leave out the bolt that sticks out past the sisal. Write the length in inches, to the nearest half inch.
If the post is still on the tree, measure the exposed sisal from platform to platform.
Color
Look at the sisal that is still on the post, or at another post on the same tree that is not shredded. Write brown or cream. If you wrote cream, the shop button says White.
Diameter
Check the diameter with a ruler across the end of the post. Match the diameter we list.
